Like I knew what you meant but grammatically tracing everything back, part of my brain kept saying “yes, children, these are the adults we prearranged to pick you up while we are at the kidnappers please go with them until we are back from dinner” which, like depending on your job could have a whole other kind of meaning
legitimately a good idea to have a code word with your kids so theu can tell an adult you have sent for them from a kidnapper.
