That would land it solidly in Biden’s term right? Two years outside of Trump’s first term.

Edit: nope, misread some dates. This was smack dab in the middle of Trump’s first term.

My sibling in FSM, solid props to you for not just deleting your comment, but rather admitting your mistake and leaving it up with the edit. The world needs more of that kind of energy.

Yeah, that sounds like the kind of operation he’d sign off on, give no thought to, and just forget about.

        Edit: I wasn’t even right. Trump served from 2017 - 2021.

“reportedly approved by US President Donald Trump, a leading US news outlet reports.”… Presidents can sign orders and actions that get approved concurrently and then not be enacted until x date so are the cuts coming from the Big Beautiful Bill Biden too?

I’m not defending Trump or his administration here. I just saw the title, saw the info about it being in 2019, and connected some dots.

The BBB being Biden’s fault doesn’t even make cursory sense. Compared to an operation executed during Biden’s Presidency it’s apples and oranges.

Edit: Also, I got the term dates solidly wrong. Trump served from 2017 to 2021, so it was in the middle of Trump’s first term.

The sense to be made, republicans usually go… “but Biden… or x democrat” so the point I was trying to make was expect to hear a lot of upcoming problems blame being pinned onto the future elected party (most likely going to be dem after this bs) rather than those who enacted the bill/policy.

Don’t mean to come off as snappy, just tired of this same song and dance from 2016, except more openly facist.
