It isn’t clear yet because my professor is disorganized and vague as fuck, but I may have to do some interviews for an assignment about living with autism/ADHD/etc.
If anyone would be willing to participate that would be awesome! I think it could be cool to get perspectives from people who don’t live in the US, but it’s not required.
Thank you for your consideration
AuDHD and trapped in the belly of the empire

Do you need the people participating to be officially diagnosed?
Edit. Oh I saw you already answered that. But I could definitely do it if you need.
It would the pov of someone understanding they are audhd in midlife, after raising a child who is also adhd. And starting uni studies again very late in life as a result. A long story of poverty, patchy employment, the works. Context is Finland, one of them supposed Nordic welfare states.
Im schizophrenic but im highly functioning so im not sure how useful that would be ? I take medication/see a doc all 3 months and im a “certified” schizophrenic like I got diagnosed a couple of years ago.
Let me know if I fit what your looking for
As long as it doesnt take a ton of time I would be open to try
Also im not American
I think high functioning is fine, it would mostly be quesitons about system supports and barriers, so nothing super invasive. It would be cool to get the perspective of someone with your diagnosis instead of just ADHD/autism. I would think that it would be 30 minutes at most, probably less. I’ll let you know if I end up having to do it, I really appreciate your offer to volunteer!
i hope it’s okay a nonHexbear throws their name in the hat.
AuDHD, PTSD. Europe, but have lived on multiple continents.
Could have sworn we were defederated from dbzer0 after their main mod threw a fit
We only blocked their 2 top admins, all the rest are allowed.
I would be open to it, I have ASD. However, I was not formally diagnosed (though my psychiatrist did say that I fit the diagnostic criteria, I have to go to a designated ASD-focused centre to actually get the diagnosis; not only is this dumb but I’m no longer in my home country anyhow) and I’m “high functioning” so I don’t quite know how useful my answers would be.
I think self-diagnosis is valid, especially if you’ve done a lot of research and the diagnosis resonates with you. I’ll let you know if I need to interview or not, either later today or tomorrow. Thank you!
You’re welcome comrade!
I fit the bill, but live in the US. Happy to talk!
US totally works too, I’ll hit you up when I figure out if I need to do it or not. Thank youuuu
My specialist said i might have one of the most severe cases of ADHD she’s ever seen and I wasn’t diagnosed or even tested until I was 32.
Canada
AuDHD in
and I have some stories engaging with contradictions in the healthcare systemI’d be pleased to. ADHD + a couple others that are closely correlated with ASD. I’ve also been part of programs oriented towards students with learning disabilities.
Living in the US, but have lived elsewhere for several years.
In Canada, Quebec, diagnosed with autism. Could help out if you need.
In the states here but feel free to hmu if you like, diagnosed adhd
Confirmed Autism. Feel free to ask any questions but all I ask is to not have even this silly username quoted.
lol I would absolutely not divulge your username, the website, or any other personally identifiable information. What goes on in Hexbear stays in Hexbear
I went through the process of diagnosis last year for ADHD. In the Baltics. I can get kind of busy at times tho’
