Fascism is obviously spreading all over the Nazi-infested West. Is it a pipe dream to flee to China or is it worth starting to learn some Chinese?

Is anyone seriously making moves to try?

I know the K visa is supposed to be for “young STEM” people, but as far as I could read, there wasn’t any sort of age restriction. Been thinking of getting a second degree in Comp Sci to take advantage of it tbh. Sounds like a good deal, even if temporarily.

    • It also requires being from a “recognized university”, which might mean HYPSM, T20, T50, or just accreditation. I’d imagine it’s more focused on the T20/HYPSM schools, because companies will probably only hire foreign applicants who are notably better than Chinese ones. Chinese education is significantly harder and more competitive than American education, and the bottom ~20% of young Chinese STEM degree holders are unemployed, so the competition is very stiff without strong name recognition.
