Idk man. I’m already not an anime guy, then I watched the first two episodes and I hate the English dub so much that I decided not to continue with it.
Agreed this sucked. And it sucked even worse that there was only an English dub.
This would have been mid if it was Japanese sub because of how mid the story and plot is
For record, I watched until episode 7 and then gave up. It just felt like a globetrotting show. Go here. Find this breadcrumb then go here next. Add a very uninteresting sounding cast and you lose my attention
How on Earth did the guy who did cowboy Bebop and space dandy think that this was acceptable?
Voice acting in Japan is a separate profession that can get you quite a bit of fame. Voice acting in the English-speaking world is usually something second-rate actors do when they can’t earn enough money from live-action roles. So the quality of the voices provided is usually (but not always) higher in Japanese.
(As for the show itself, the action scenes are fairly well-done, but the plot is no great shakes. It’s entertaining so long as you don’t expect too much of it.)

Really? I’m typically a sub enjoyer but since it initially released only in dub that’s how I’ve been watching it and I’ve been enjoying it

If it’s only an English dub, why would Japanese be better? It means you’re watching it in the language it was natively made in and thus unaltered?
