There are ZERO teachers coming from out of state. Certified teachers that live here are quitting and doing anything else. There’s emergency certifications for regular people to teach, if they don’t mind being paid 20k a year.

The real scary part is how much they’re trying to attack him, because a democratic socialist mayor in New York can show how shitty Republican solutions have been on solving core problems like wealth inequality. Beyond what Bernie or AOC can do as an individual member of Congress. A mayor is an executive, and new York is big. If he’s not trying to line his pockets, he can do real damage to conservatives and establishment Democrats just by showing everyone there’s a better way.

I would be happy if the nominee was AOC (it won’t be), but if they chose Nancy Pelosi I would be upset. One is actively fighting the establishment, and the other IS the establishment.
