But does the texture artist need to talk to the modelers? Of course. Do they need to talk to people in sound design? Maybe. What about game engine and programming? Maybe. What about writers? Maybe.
The fact is, you’d probably have a better product at the end of the day if everyone were able to coordinate their efforts.
I mean, that’s always been the case. That’s literally spaceX’s primary job, putting things in space for NASA. It’s the same for every launch provider in the US.

NASA has experiments to run, spaceX has no idea what science NASA is interested in doing. So having SpaceX make the payload doesn’t really make a lot of sense.
Yeah, I really could not understand the motivation behind that. Why throw away such a valuable brand? I mean the name was even a clever play on words that also gave them a cute bird icon/mascot.
“Twitter”, with that bird logo is just a slam dunk, that’s solid gold branding… It’s insane to randomly “go a different direction” and then land at “X”. If I was their brand coordinator or director of marketing when they made that change, I’d resign then and there.
Changing their name to “X” was essentially lighting 20% of their assets on fire on day 1.

Apple has a history of being the good guys when it comes to issues of encryption. As a rule, they want to keep your privacy (and theirs). But they also want to continue operating in many countries, and when something like this happens, they may fight it in court, but if they lose, they won’t pull out of the region, they’ll find a way to comply.
In other words, this is a problem with national governments. They need to stop asking app and os developers to do unethical things, there’s enough pressure for them to do that already.
And who knows maybe it also shuffles these developers down a slippery slope… Maybe developers figure “if we must spy on users, we’ve already lost their trust, we might as well make a profit from it”. And that leads us to the relationship we have with technology today, our tech is untrustworthy, we feel the oppression of the surveillance state and we have nobody to blame but ourselves.
It took me an embarrassingly long time to figure out what this actually is.
I followed your link, and read the “how it works” page and only then realized that this is for “scheduling” in a programmatic sense, not scheduling in a calendar events and appointments sense.
But is this understanding correct? That this is a tool designed to aid for example, a social media coordinator for an organization, or a brand manager? Something to help send out updates or messages at pre planned times? Or perhaps to allow you to create one statement and post that to several different platforms?
