Maybe im severely out of the loop, but I was under the impression there were human rights abuses happening in China against uyghurs. I get that the US and UK claiming China is evil and doing human rights abuses is hypocritical as fuck. Theres definitely a lot of misinformation about it all online.

Surely its possible, if not extremely likely, that China is doing awful shit to minorities in the same fashion that the US, Canada, UK or anyone other world power do all the time.

It went well where I was. Lots of Trump in diapers lol that was weird. The inflatable mascots were out in droves. We got a lot of support from people there for keeping some focus on Gaza and ICE.

The strange part for me was how they tried to manage the march. There was no concrete direction to the crowd from the organizers on where we were going. Once we got to downtown there were just two guys in tac vests in the road yelling that the march was over and everyone just kinda aimlessly wandered off. Still unclear if the tac vest guys were actually leadership or not.

If it was a different kind of protest the random dispersment and lack of coordination could have been really bad but the local police were nowhere at the end of it, luckily.

Assuming they would consider all superhumans, alien species or anyone from another country to be targets. Likely that most of the supers that are just rich people with access would turn on the others.

Walking Dead is a shame because it had a lot of potential to be something cool in the first season. I was a fan of the comic series so I was pretty invested early on. Typical AMC meddling and a bunch of cast/staff cuts really fucked it up from the jump. Never finished the show, I gave up after they killed off an incredibly important character way too early due to the actor leaving.

Agreed. Its very disheartening. My center-left liberal family is generally well-intentioned but they have their moments that really display that the progressive viewpoints are entirely oppositional theatrics and not genuine ethical value.

Big one that stands out for me was my retired silicon valley aunt coming to visit, and took us out to a fancy restaurant. I told her how I had been helping out my neighbors who live in a few tents in the park next to us. Had to leave a discord server I was a regular in because two members always argued with me on this.

The basic arguments they each always had was:

1. Anti-agriculture and animal liberation always leads to eco-fascism
2. Meat industry workers do not know any better and do not understand that what theyre doing is bad
3. Mass animal liberation would be too expensive and all the animals will die of starvation without human intervention.
4. The big one was “if your political ideology would cause harm to humans then your ideology is fascist”

Hear hear. Fuck my boss too. My workplace is nutty. Currently the general big boss of the region is on a tirade firing everyone who questions any decisions upper management makes and then hiring on-call workers to replace them. At this point almost half of the workers are completely untrained and we all have to train them without extra pay, or make up for their mistakes otherwise we can get targetted for audits. Office work is abusive as fuck.
