You know, I’ll agree with your first paragraph. But it’s not only the last 40 years, it’s even longer. Is there a realistic alternative? I don’t see one.

If the real left (not the democrats) in the us wants to be in power I don’t see an alternative to violence. And if violence is chosen I have my doubts that the left would win. It’s a lose lose situation. The US is a shit hole that won’t get better in the next decades or centuries. Maybe hope for a short respite like the 90s.
