Even in the 80’s, when they butchered promiscuous teens, the point was that the teens were the heroes!

Ecofacism is shit, that much everyone can agree, not counting western Greens (= neoliberals/[facists]). But anti-natalism has nothing do with that. Anti-natalism just proposes that being born is involuntary, and you may not know if a person enjoys their life, so birthing a person is possibly cruel and always arbitrary.
I do believe that your ultimate question just answered it all!
