seconding this, my gf struggles with tech, i put her laptop on linux mint and shes had a much easier time using it

my phones a samsung, in the quick settings i can add a Sound Amplifier toggle, then i just messed with the settings til i could hear people better

edit to clarify, google pixel phones should have it too, idk about other androids
