It was a new one for me as well. I have been on a Morello kick the last few days and I stumbled on it.
There is also a version by Rise Against that’s done live with Wayne Kramer (MC5), Brian Fallon (Gaslight Anthem), and Tom Morello which is fantastic.
I haven’t thought about Gaslight in a while, I need to mix them back into rotation.
Yes you should! They put out an album in 2023, which features Springsteen actually. You also have to check out Brian Fallon’s solo/duo work when Gaslight was broken up, Elsie by The Horrible Crowes and his albums under his own name. Different style of course but great stuff.
