What does a starship captain want with a meme?

I love how the slightly awkward line break in the text makes it sound like Shatner’s speech pattern lol

Time traveler: moves a rock
The_Kirk_Maneuver
That would actually be a cool name…
moves rock a bit too far
The_alfghalfdjalfdugahinrounivraltlata_Maneuver
KHAAA45GHThx;₽§AAAAAAHNN!!!1!
KHAAA45GHThx;₽§AAAAAAHNN!!!2: man no one ever thinks about me
Picard is way cooler than Kirk. Who wants to make memes about a nerd? I’d rather meme about the badass who took a nausican sword to the heart and laughed.
Where’s that Kirk/Spock & Picard/Riker counterpoint meme when you need it?
Never mind, here it is:

They both fucked Spock he’s freaky
Picard is way cooler than Kirk
Anyone’s cooler than an erratic old man who throws around the casual insult dismissal “sporto” on his twitter account.
Nobody’s cooler than an old man photographed enjoying life while slurping on a cornetto ice cream cone with his best pal Gandalf.

I’ve met people who are offended by the notion that anything exist after STVI.
Which is just silly, since TNG was into season 4 by that point.
I encountered a person who said after Roddenberry died, the entire TNG cast should have been banned from attending STLV.
EDIT: I should clarify that the topic of discussion I overheard was unclear to me. One complaint is that TNG saved the franchise, when according to the aggrieved, it was always TOS.
Wait they wanted the franchise to end
My understanding was they had heard TNG referred to as what saved the franchise but didn’t agree with that sentiment. They were trying to argue (with no citation, just pure anger) that the TOS cast saved themselves.
At some point the conversation shifted towards complaints about modern conventions (I should have said I overheard this at STLV). They complained about the modern pricing and seating arrangements we have today. That lead them to mention the year the convention hall named the vendor’s room after Roddenberry. This seemed to upset the person even more and say that it was a disgrace that anyone let the TNG cast attend the convention that following year. Possibly I missed some context that explained why they felt so adamantly negative about TNG. All I could say was that the opinion being given seemed to ignore the fact that Roddenberry created that series. If it was anything else, I would understand. This I was having trouble understanding.
EDIT: The cherry on top was this person was wearing a Kirk heartthrob shirt.
EDIT 2: I understand there are people who only care about TOS and have no interest in the rest of the franchise. I’ve met those people. I respect that. But this person seems very upset with the fact that the franchise exist beyond TOS.
Kirk is a meme.

At least he did some damage with that one.

I recommended the browser extension LibRedirect. You can set it to redirect all Imgur links to alternative frontend like this one
I’m on mobile and I’m using duckduckgo, but thanks very much for the link. Great gif.
Damn, well it’s a gif of Kirk attacking someone like a human bowling ball with a big X and “Strike!”
Thanks.
Meme credited to William Shatner (but actually written by Judith and Garfield Reeves-Stevens)
Quality leads to tributes . Something that James “Two fist” Kirk, Benji “The mad bomber” Şişko , Kathryn “resting bitch face” Janeway and Scott “I was in Star Trek too” Bakula lack.
Archer absorbing the star trek:

He’s always hoping his next leap will be the leap home. Because home is where the heart is. It’s been a long time but he’ll get home because it’s where his heart will take him and he’s got faith… Faith of the heart!
